The name is the design brief. UWELL stripped the weight out without stripping the features, and the result is a pod kit you genuinely forget you are carrying.

No buttons at all, and yet two modes

This is the clever part. The Air has no fire button and no screen, but it still gives you two output modes.

To switch, you pull the cartridge out and push it back in twice, quickly. That is it.

Waves Mode is the smoother of the two, easier on the throat and kinder to your battery and pod.

Storm Mode unlocks stronger flavour and a harder hit.

Most button-free devices give you one setting and that is your lot. Using the pod itself as the control is a neat piece of design, and it means nothing on the body can be pressed by accident in a pocket.

The airflow works on the same principle. Flip the cartridge round and the draw changes.

The GPP Alpha pod is the real upgrade

This is the first Caliburn built around UWELL’s new GPP Alpha cartridge, running AlphaCore flavour technology.

UWELL’s claim is greater flavour stability across the life of the pod and a longer lifespan before it fades, with a redesigned leak-resistant structure. On a pod kit, pod life is your running cost, so this matters more than the headline wattage.

A 0.6Ω 3ml GPP Alpha cartridge is included. It also takes standard GPP cartridges and older Caliburn G3 pods, so if you already own another Caliburn your existing stock fits.

Eight colours

Shadow Black is deep matte black, Mist Gray a soft pale grey and Cloud White a clean off-white. Twilight Blue is dusky, Mint Green cool and pale, Grass Green brighter and warmer, Coral Orange a warm coral and Lilac Violet a soft purple.

The palette is deliberately muted. ABS and PC construction keeps the weight down, and the mouthpiece is soft-touch TPU, which is more comfortable over a long day than hard plastic.

1000mAh and 25W

Being straight about this: the Air is not the most powerful device we sell. Most of the Caliburn range runs to 35W and carries a bigger battery.

Twenty-five watts is plenty for MTL vaping with salt nicotine, which is what most people actually do. And 1000mAh gets a moderate user through a full day. If you want more headroom or a longer gap between charges, look at the G5 Lite SE at the same 90 AED, which has a 1600mAh battery and 35W.

How to use

Charge fully before first use. Fill the pod from the side, leaving a small air gap, and let a new pod soak for five to ten minutes before your first puff. Fit the pod and inhale. There is nothing to press.

To change mode, pull the cartridge out and push it back in twice, quickly. To change the airflow, take the cartridge out, turn it round and put it back.

Use 50/50 e-liquid with the 0.6Ω pod. At 25W this device is built for salt nicotine and MTL rather than high-VG sub-ohm vaping.
