The lights tell you three things

This is the part worth understanding, because it is more useful than it sounds.

The LED array shows your battery level, your e-liquid level, and whether the pod you have fitted is genuine. Fit a real JUUL 2 pod and the device flashes white to confirm it. Fit a counterfeit and it will not authenticate.

In a market where fake pods are common and often poorly made, having the device itself check for you is worth more than any spec on the list.

350mAh, 80% in half an hour

Twenty-five percent more battery than the original JUUL, which works out at 200 to 300 puffs per charge for most people, roughly a full pod.

Charging runs through a magnetic dock that snaps onto the device. It reaches 80% in about 30 minutes and full in 45 to 60. The dock plugs into any standard USB port, so a laptop or a phone charger both work.

One point worth knowing: the device does not have a USB-C port on it. Charging is through the supplied dock only, so do not lose it.

Aluminium with a matte finish

The original JUUL had a gloss body that showed every fingerprint and got slippery. The JUUL 2 is matte aluminium, which holds grip better and stays looking clean. It matters more here than in cooler climates.

Takes JUUL 2 pods only

Each pod holds 1.2ml at 18mg, which is seventy percent more liquid than an original JUUL pod. We stock them in fourteen flavours across tobacco, menthol and fruit.

Original JUUL pods will not fit. The two generations use different formats entirely. Nor will MYLE, RELX or any other brand pods.

How to use

Charge the device on the dock before first use. Take a JUUL 2 pod from its pack and push it into the top until it clicks, then watch for the white flash confirming it is genuine.

Inhale. There is nothing to press. Tap the device to check your battery and liquid levels on the lights.

When the pod runs out, pull it out and fit a new one.
