UWELL Caliburn GK3 Pod Kit

Seventy-four millimetres tall. That makes the GK3 the shortest device we stock, undercutting even the square G4 Pro KOKO and G5 Lite KOKO by a good centimetre.

It is the third generation of the KOKO Prime, and it puts a 1.45 inch display on a body small enough to vanish in a closed hand.

A screen that tells you everything, and a body that tells you too

The segmented LCD shows wattage, coil resistance, battery level and puff count. It is segmented rather than full colour, which sounds like a downgrade and is not: it draws almost no power, so the battery goes further than it would with a colour panel.

More interesting is the haptic feedback. The device vibrates when you turn it on or off, when you insert a pod, and when charging finishes. On a small device you often check by looking, and the GK3 removes that step. You feel the confirmation instead.

Airflow by turning the pod round

No slider. Pull the cartridge out, rotate it 180 degrees and put it back. One orientation gives a tighter mouth-to-lung draw, the other opens it up for restricted direct lung.

Two positions rather than a continuous range, which is simpler than a slider and harder to knock out of place by accident.

Leak resistance improved by 150%

UWELL combined ultrasonic welding with a U-shaped channel design in the G3 pods, and rates the result at 150 percent better against leaking than the previous generation.

Leaking is the failure that makes people abandon a pod kit, so this matters more than most spec-sheet entries.

Two pods in the box, and a lanyard

A 0.6Ω pod for warmer vapour and a looser draw, and a 0.9Ω for a tighter, more flavour-focused MTL pull. Both 2.5ml FeCrAl mesh, filling from the side, connecting magnetically.

Reviewers tend to prefer the 0.9Ω on this device, which delivers dense, warm vapour and the best flavour at the full 25W.

A lanyard is included too, which suits a device this small and square.

Takes Caliburn G3 pods

Same pod platform as the Caliburn G3 stick we stock, so the two devices share cartridges. Available at 0.6Ω, 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω.

Be aware this is not the GPP platform. Most of our Caliburn range uses GPP and GPP Alpha pods, which will not fit the GK3. Buy G3 pods for this one.

Four finishes

Black, Gray, Blue and Red. The cases are partially see-through, which gives them the retro-future look UWELL was aiming for, and lets a little of the internals show. Built from PCTG, PC and ABS at 52g.

900mAh and 25W, honestly

This is not the most powerful device in our range. The G4 Pro and G5 run to 35W with much larger batteries, at similar prices.

What the GK3 offers instead is the smallest footprint of anything we sell, a display that shows more than most devices twice its size, haptic feedback, and two pods plus a lanyard in the box. For MTL vaping with salt nicotine, which is what it was built for, 25W is more than enough.

How to use

Charge fully before first use. Fill the pod from the side, leaving a small air gap, and let a new pod soak for five to ten minutes before your first puff. Insert the pod, feel the vibration confirm it, and set your wattage on the display.

For a looser draw, take the pod out, turn it 180 degrees and put it back.

Use 50/50 salt nicotine on the 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω pods. The 0.6Ω handles 70/30 freebase if you want more vapour.
