JUUL Pods, Pack of 4

These are the original JUULpods, the ones that launched the pod category in 2015 and have barely changed since. Four sealed pods per pack, 0.7ml each, around 200 puffs per pod.

Two flavours, two strengths

Virginia Tobacco is JUUL signature. Classic American-blend tobacco, rich and smooth with subtle earthy notes, and the flavour most smokers reach for when switching. It tastes like a cigarette rather than a sweetened approximation of one.

Menthol is clean icy cooling with a clear finish. If you smoked menthols, this is the direct equivalent.

Each comes in 3% (30mg) and 5% (50mg).

Pick 5% if you are coming off a pack a day and want the hit to land immediately. Pick 3% if you are a lighter smoker, or if you have been on 5% and want to step down. The flavour is identical between them, only the strength changes.

A note on strength

Both of these sit above the 20mg level that applies to e-liquid under UAE standards. If you want a JUUL at a lower strength, the JUUL 2 system runs at 18mg across its whole range.

These fit the original JUUL only

This is the part people get wrong. JUUL pods do not fit the JUUL 2, and JUUL 2 pods do not fit the original JUUL. The two generations use completely different formats.

If your device has a traffic-light LED showing green, yellow and red, you have the original and these are your pods. If it shows a row of lights and flashes white when a pod goes in, you have a JUUL 2 and you need JUUL 2 pods instead.

Pull a pod from the pack, push it into the device until it seats, and inhale. No filling, no coil, no priming, no settings. When it runs out, pull it out and fit the next one.

JUULsalts

The liquid uses nicotine salts rather than freebase, which absorb faster and feel considerably smoother at these strengths. A 50mg freebase liquid would be unvapeable. At 50mg as a salt it is firm but comfortable, which is exactly why the format works for switchers.

How to use

Take a pod from the pack and push it into the top of your JUUL until it clicks into place. Inhale. There is no button.

Tap the device to check the battery light. When a pod stops producing vapour, pull it out and fit the next one. Dispose of used pods responsibly rather than in general waste.
