Why a removable battery matters

Every other device we stock has the cell sealed inside. When it runs out you stop and charge. When the cell degrades after a couple of years, the device is finished.

21700 or 18650?

A 21700 gives more capacity and more headroom at 80W. This is what the device is designed around.

An 18650 is smaller and lighter, and an adapter sleeve is included in the box so you can use one.

Both are standard, widely available cells. Buy from a reputable source, buy a genuine brand, and never use a cell with a damaged wrap.

A touchscreen that replaced the buttons

The 1.66 inch colour touchscreen handles everything. There are no adjustment buttons because there is no need for them.

It also has a motion and skin-detect sensor, so picking the device up wakes the screen. In practice that means you glance at it and the information is already there.

One honest note from reviewers: the screen sleeps quite eagerly. Some people find that a minor annoyance, others like the battery saving.

80W and the full PnP X range

A 0.15Ω coil comes pre-installed and a 0.3Ω is included spare, so the kit is set up for direct lung out of the box. Buy a 0.8Ω or 1.0Ω if you want MTL on salt nicotine.

Five millilitres is generous. Filling is from the side without removing the cartridge, and the airflow sits on top, which helps against leaking.

VOOPOO recommends 50% to 70% VG liquid. Use 70/30 freebase at 3mg for the 0.15Ω coil, and 50/50 salt nicotine for the higher resistances.

How to use

Insert a charged 21700, or fit the adapter sleeve and use an 18650. Mind the polarity markings inside the compartment.

Fill the cartridge from the side, leaving a small air gap, and let the coil saturate for fifteen minutes before your first puff. At 0.15Ω a dry coil burns immediately.

Pick the device up to wake the screen, then set wattage by touch. Adjust the top airflow to taste.

Battery safety: use only genuine cells from a reputable seller. Never use a battery with a torn or damaged wrap. Do not carry loose cells in a pocket with keys or coins.
