This is a different class of device from everything else we stock.

Our pod kits run 25 to 40 watts. The Drag 6 runs to 220. It is a full box mod with a 4400mAh battery, temperature control, rebuildable support and a 5ml sub-ohm tank, aimed at people who want vapour production and control rather than something discreet in a pocket.

VOOPOO recommends 6mg/ml or below for this device.

That is not a suggestion you can ignore. At 220 watts with a 0.15Ω coil you inhale several times the vapour a pod kit produces per draw. Putting 50mg salt nicotine in this would deliver an enormous amount of nicotine very quickly and would be genuinely unpleasant, if not worse.

4400mAh from two cells

Previous Drag models took removable 18650 batteries, which meant buying cells and a charger separately and knowing what you were doing. The Drag 6 builds in two 2200mAh cells instead, so you charge it over Type-C at 5V/3A like anything else.

The GENE TT 3.0 chip holds output steady even below 10% battery, which is the point at which most devices start to sag.

Three modes

SMART reads the coil and sets a sensible wattage. This is where most people stay.

RBA unlocks manual control for rebuildable atomisers, if you build your own coils.

TC-TCR is temperature control, running 200 to 600°F, with adjustable TCR for different wire types.

You can treat this as a simple wattage device and never leave SMART, or grow into the rest of it over time.

UFORCE-X Tank II

Five millilitres, stainless steel and glass, filling from the top. The airflow uses what VOOPOO calls a golden triangle structure with a rotary adjustment dial, and the top-fill with top airflow design is built specifically against leaking, which is the usual complaint with sub-ohm tanks.

It also accepts other tanks, RDAs and RTAs if you want to go further.

Two coils in the box

A 0.15Ω PnP X comes pre-installed, built for high wattage and cloud production. A 0.3Ω PnP X is included spare, which balances flavour and vapour at lower power.

Beyond those, the whole PnP X coil range fits. A spare glass tube and a silicone seal pack are also included, which is thoughtful given glass is the part that breaks.

Precision control wheel and touch unlock

Wattage adjusts on a wheel rather than buttons, which is faster and more precise. The device unlocks on a capacitive touch sensor rather than five clicks.

Seven finishes

Black, Silver, Metal Gray, Blue, Green, Brown and Red. Zinc alloy with leather panelling, which at this size gives it real presence.

Is this the right device for you?

Buy it if you want big vapour, want to control temperature or wattage precisely, or plan to build your own coils.

Do not buy it if you want something pocketable, if you vape salt nicotine, or if you are coming straight off cigarettes. A pod kit suits you far better, and it will cost a quarter as much.

How to use

Charge fully before first use. Fill the tank from the top, leaving a small air gap, and let the coil saturate for fifteen minutes before your first puff. At 0.15Ω a dry coil burns instantly and you will taste it until you replace it.

Start in SMART mode and let the device set the wattage. Adjust the rotary airflow dial on the tank to taste. Unlock with the touch sensor and use the control wheel to change power.

Use 70/30 or higher VG freebase liquid at 3mg or 6mg.
