The ILUMA i standard is the two-piece model, with a separate holder and pocket charger. That setup gives you far more sessions between wall charges than an all-in-one device, and the charging case adds a Touch Screen so you can see battery status, session count and device settings at a glance.

Holder and pocket charger

The holder is what you use for each stick. The pocket charger tops it up between sessions, so you can go through a full day without finding a plug. Recharge the case itself over USB-C when it runs down.

Touch Screen

The charging case has a Touch Screen showing battery level, remaining sessions and device settings. It is the main practical difference from the ILUMA i ONE, which has a simple indicator light instead.

No blade, no cleaning

ILUMA devices use the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. A metal element inside the TEREA stick heats the tobacco from within, so nothing on the device ever touches the tobacco. No blade to snap, nothing to clean out afterwards. Anyone coming from an IQOS 3 DUO will notice this straight away.

Works with TEREA only

The ILUMA i standard takes TEREA sticks. HEETS will not work, since those were made for the older blade-based devices. We stock TEREA across several origins including Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Italy.

Auto-start and Pause

Slide a stick in and heating begins on its own. The ILUMA i standard range also supports pausing a session partway through and picking it back up, so you do not waste a stick if you get interrupted.

How to use

1. Charge the pocket charger fully before first use.
2. Take the holder out and slide a TEREA stick in until the printed line meets the top edge.
3. Heating starts automatically. Wait for the vibration or light signal.
4. Pull the stick straight out when finished and bin it.
5. Return the holder to the case to recharge between sessions.

ILUMA i standard or ILUMA i ONE?

The i ONE is a single unit, simpler and lighter to carry, at 170 AED. The ILUMA i splits into a holder and a charging case, giving you many more sessions before you need a plug, plus the Touch Screen. If you use a few sticks a day, the i ONE is enough. If you are a heavier user or out all day, the ILUMA i is the better buy.
