What the PRIME adds

Underneath, the i PRIME performs the same as the standard ILUMA i. The difference is the case: a wrapped soft-touch exterior, metallic accents, and a magnetic door that opens with a flick rather than a slide. The holder sits flush and the whole thing feels heavier in hand in a way that reads as solid rather than bulky.

Holder and pocket charger

Two pieces. The holder handles each stick, the charging case tops it back up between sessions. That means you can go through a full day without needing a wall socket. The case itself charges over USB-C.

Touch Screen

The case has a Touch Screen showing battery level, remaining sessions and settings, so you always know where you stand.

No blade, no cleaning

ILUMA devices use the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. A metal element inside the TEREA stick heats the tobacco from the inside, so nothing on the device touches the tobacco. No blade to break, nothing to clean. Anyone moving up from an IQOS 3 DUO will notice the difference on day one.

Works with TEREA only

Auto-start and Pause

Insert a stick and heating begins on its own. You can also pause a session partway and return to it, so an interruption does not cost you a stick.

How to use

1. Charge the pocket charger fully before first use.
2. Open the magnetic door and take out the holder.
3. Slide a TEREA stick in until the printed line meets the top edge.
4. Heating starts automatically. Wait for the vibration or light signal.
5. Pull the stick straight out when finished and bin it.
6. Return the holder to the case to recharge between sessions.
